Bj the Chicago Kid

The days of the old school singers like: Luther, Marvin Gaye, and Al Green are almost gone. Now a days Rhythm and Blues has become more hip hopish rather than soulful or emotional love music. Though I am a diehard oldie, I have been persuaded by one artist to accept this new age of R&B. Bj the Chicago Kid is a singer who is coming up slowly in the game; his first mixtape called "Taste of Chicago" was a nice listen, my favorite song is "Change gone come", which was a remix of Sam Cooke's original version. Then earlier this year he put out his Ep called "The New Beginning", this Ep had me convinced that he is going to be a artist to contend with in 2010.
