Sundays are for God and good music

On this wonderful day that the Lord has made,
I will be glad and listen to smooth jazz all day.
That's what I said when I woke up this morning
and decided to go back to my roots. So I put some
Norman Brown on the Itunes, and just vibed out.

U-N-I-T-Y is the way!!!

I know ya'll heard heard of the Fab Five back when Michigan was running college basketball. Well now I bring you the Trifecta. Willie The Kid (Grand Rapids), Jon Connor (Detroit) and Black Milk (Detroit) come together to bring the track "One Time" off of Willie The Kid's new mixtape The Fly 2: Transformation coming out next month. Black Milk lays down a simple but real soulful beat as Willie The Kid and Jon Connor show love the Michigan way with their rhymes. The three of them together equals great music.

Co$$ and Blu recorded this track entitled
"Through The Flames". It was supposed to
be on Co$$'s new lp "Before I Awoke" but

truth and good lyricism.

A History Lesson

Since 2002 Skillz has been dropping off a single
at the end of every year that recaps what happened
that year. This tradition is now known as "The Rapup".
So I decided to compile all of his rapups and give them
to the masses. So here it is "Skillz Rapups 2002-2010".

2011 is starting to look good already

OH SNAP!!!!!!!
This pictrue shows Phonte and 9th Wonder
finally reconciling thier differences. As of this moment
the Phonte and 9th Wonder beef is over. here's the tweet
from Phonte
"Our friendship began as Phonte Coleman and Patrick Douthit long before a ‘LB’ or ’9th Wonder’ existed. This was about rebuilding that bond.
I appreciate the love for me and @9thwondermusic, but us mending our rift had nothing to do with music and everything to do with manhood.
We may collaborate in time, but this is not the start of a LB reunion as neither of us have interest in doing so. Sorry to disappoint."
Okay so I know the last comment was kind of a bubble burst.
But it is nice to know that they will be collabing later on.
Good times is on the horizon, Happy New Year to Hip Hop.

Jazz master Grover Washington Jr. One of his
