Danny!

Some call him that "Backpack nigga",
others call NC's Kanye West. I come to
know him as Danny Swain or Danny!!

I first heard Danny! on his album "And I Love H.E.R.".
The concept of the album was about Danny! having a relationship
with Hip Hop. The whole time a describes hip hop as if it were a woman.
(like Common's I used to love)

Danny! to me is one of the most underrate
artist out right now. His ability to rhyme and
produce is uncanny. And the simple fact that
he is not blowing up right now, make you wonder
where hip hop is going, here are some other albums by Danny!-

"Creative Control" Releases

For those who have been living under a mainstream radio, Dame Dash and his new label Creative Control have been putting in work as of late in the underground music scene.  With the success of their BlakRoc album with The Black Keys,  Creative Control hasn't waisted any time creating more gems with their label.  I am really excited with their producer Ski Beats releasing "24 Hour Karate School" which features literally almost all of my favorite artists from Curren$y to Jay Electronica.  Even Curren$y is releasing his latest album "Pilot Talk" under Creative Control distribution.  So until both projects are released, I will give you a few teasers just to keep you on edge as I am.  Look out Jay, Dame is coming back with a vengeance!
(Creative Control > Roc Nation....sorry J. Cole)

West Coast Invasion

Again, another release from the
Left coast, This time its El Prez's
running mate Dale Danja.
Okay I first heard him on his compilation album that he
did with El Prez called "Perfect Strangers", and at the time
I liked his beats and his lyrical capability,
but he had no solo project for me to here.
Then today I here he just dropped his solo debut called
"Cheap By Nature".
I honestly compare think he's sort of a west coast version of
Chip tha Ripper, but you be the judge-
Enjoy!!

Hey,...It's Free

To be honest, the only songs with Freeway that I have legitimately enjoyed was his verse on "Two Words" by Kanye West and...well thats about it. lol  But lately, I've been paying attention to his latest projects, and I must say,...I'm surprisingly impressed.  The first, is his mixtape called "Freelapse" where he rap's over a collection of Eminem beats. The other project is an collaboration album he did with producer Jake One called "The Stimulus Package".  Give them a listen, its good music, and I mean hey....it's free. lol

West Coast Invasion

This week is a huge week
for albums dropping from
the left coast-
El Prez drops his first solo
project since 08 called
"Animal Style"-
Here's a message from
Prez Himslef-
This is my first true solo project since ‘08 so I held nothing
back and brought the best out of myself to give the people
an amazing project and look into the FCC/ “Tree House”
lifestyle in Los Angeles, circa 2010. “Animal Style!”
derived from a hamburger chain that originated in
SoCal called In-N-Out, and refers to a special way they
prepare the burger and fries that only the locals and savvy
customers even knew existed, on a “secret” menu. Being
the hamburger aficionado I am (lol), I felt my music and
this “food for thought” I was cooking up on this project
was made by the city of angels and its inhabitants, and
should only be available to them and the people who truly
wanted to enjoy my product. For the fans who would scratch,
claw, ditch school/work, just to get their hands
on some El Prez music, “Animal Style!” was made for them.

And Ayomari finally dropped his album
"PB&J Solution"-
And here are some visuals
for his single "Ms. Right

Roses Are Red, Ghosts Are Green

The highly underrated D-Block member, Styles P teams up with DJ Green Lantern to create an underground masterpiece called the "Green Ghost Project".  The production is amazing and Styles is a lyrical powerhouse the entire record.  In promotion for the album, they also put out a comic book series also called "Green Ghost Project".  All you Jadakiss fans better wise up, The Ghost is in effect. "Who's real?" not you Jada, not you. lol

Sundays are For God and good Music

Okay if you want some soul music
with a kick realness then Canada is the place
to listen to the R&B artist Ebrahim
I found Ebrahim on Slakah The Beatchild's album called
Soul Movement Volume 1.
Ebrahim's song called "Be Alright" is on
Slakah's album cause Slakah produced it, and the song is on Ebrahim's album.
Though Slakah's album is very Soulful
Ebrahim's album called "Goldrush" is a
breath of fresh air.
Couldn't believe that there was still an
R&B artist out there that still sings like
this, which is for the love of music not
fame. Ebrahim is revolutionary and
is going to be around for years to come,
and as you know I will keep posting his music
its that good!!-

You'll thank me later
God Bless

Wiz Khalifa Takes Flight

Here is the official music video
for his single "This Plane"
which is off of his album called

Theophilus London...who?

This is a cat i've been listening to a lot recently.
His name is Theophilus London.
the thing i like about him is that his musical tastes are so contrasting
you would think there was no way to fuse his ideas. he made it work.
For example, his favorite artists are The Smiths and Dr. Dre....

(Make sure you scroll down once you open the link)

Enjoy.
